Finally took the time to get a couple lines wet at Perris this afternoon. I took a little break from fishing to basically surf a little more and catch up on life (I can relate to you Matt Peters in one of your old posts.) Any hoot, there wasnt much going on at Perris, i cruised around the lake, walked on the dock and hardly saw any fish cruising around, it was kinda weird. Seems like it would be perfect weather to get the fish to move around but that wasnt the case. Fished the Marina w/ a hula grub, dropshot and a fluke and i only got bit throwing a fluke. And, it was a quick bite and spit. So i ended the day w/ nada. No worries though it was good to get back on the lake, or any lake for that matter since ive been such a beach bum lately. Yo CJ and Kevin I havent been in for a while to harrass you guys looks like its time to pay another visit and restock. Definitely gonna come in to pick up some trout baits and gear during the big weekend. Feels good to be back.
