Fishing has been tough in the lagoon for the last week. The water in the lagoon is down just over a foot and the weeds are growing high. This makes spinners and spoons tough to fish with from shore. I hooked a decent size bass on a Bouyant 1/4oz trout spoon only to have it eject the lure after a decent fight. Trout and Bluegill bite is poor to fair. LOTS of shad by the shoreline. I'll be tubing in the lagoon this Saturday and I hope to have better results.
