#48, "SB- North Dakota fishing"

well, for my summer trip, we went to ND to visit some relatives. of course i packed a couple rods and my tube. the way there sucked and i don't want to talk about it. the first fish were rainbow trout caught in montana at some campground with ponds like loaded to the brim but i don't really consider that fishing. at yellowstone, we were camped right on yellowstone lake. the campsite next to us had 4 float tubes and 2 kickboats. i went out tubing with 3 of the guys in tubes. at about 1/2 mile offshore i hooked a nice 15 inch cutthroat on a mepps black fury. a couple casts later i got another one about 15 inches. the bite slowed and the other guys called it a day. i stayed out for a while and switched to a mepps XD. that's when it got fun. withing about 1/2 hour i got 4 more cutts to the tube all over 15 inches with the biggest about 17. i also farmed two. the cool thing about yellowstone is that all the cutts are native and they have this regulation where you can't keep any cutts under 13 inches so there's a lot more big fish. i attempted to tube the next day but by the time i got half way out a thunder storm moved in and a bolt of lightning hit the ground so i took off.<P>sounds like a lot went on while i was gone with jamon's car and margarita going off and rob sneaking off the rosa while i'm not around.
