I fished there a couple months back and caught crappie drop shotting robo worms and even caught one on a crank. I was fishing for bass, but caught some very nice crappie. I noticed that they bit best when the lake was calm... as soon as the wind picked up... they were gone... and then when the wind stopped - they picked up again.

I fished the area opposite the entrance - along some plant growth on the shoreline. I think crappies usually like small white jigs.

On a side note - I only went to this lake as sort of a last resort when some other plans fell through one day. It's expensive and not really worth the time, IMHO.
