Hit Dell Valle (Livermore, CA) on Saturday (5/4/02) in the hopes of a "striper day". Trolled Trout plugs and lures from the surface to 25 feet in South End & Narrows. Fished all points from 10 to 50 feet drifting Jumbo minnows. No stripers. Did manage 8 fat and healthy bass hanging along weedlines in 8 ft of water. All fish aggressive and hitting hard. Most fish in the 2-3 lb classs. Did manage one at 8.5. Can't figure out how to post it to this report. Any clues?

Trout also hitting silver lures or nightcrawlers on the troll (surface). Saw plenty nets dipping and I also managed a quick limit trolling while I ate my lunch. Fish are all "dinks"!
