On that particular fish my friend was using a crankbait at a fallen over tree. The lake is crowded on the bare part of the shore where all the trout fisherman are, but if you want to go to the back of the lake, which is not accesible by car, you will find a lot of cover and alot of unpressured bass. The lake is in Chino and it is right of the 91 on Euclid Ave by the Chino Prison. I think it is 5.00 to launch a boat at it is a 19 foot maximum with no inflatables and 5hp max. It is a small lake so all you need is a trolling motor and a large bass boat would look out of place. I have had alot of luck with brush hogs and baby brush hogs on a jig head. The biggest fish have come on bill dance excaliber medium divers. here is another look of the size fish you can catch. This picture was taken on a narrow part of the lake on a weekday before closing so there arent many trout anglers. Notice the trout fishing on the other side.
