Lake Mission Viejo is like a San Diego Lake without the horrible fishing pressure and it has docks to fish. There are some really big bass swimming around in that lake. My friend Brett Woodward and I boated about 25 fish on down-shotted worms, T-rigged worms, and gitzits for the site fish. We saw some toads cruising around...looking for a big bluegill or trout!!! The place is sick and it's located in Orange County! I use a friend of my mom's to get in. My advice is, do some networking to find someone who lives in MV to get you on the lake. I can't wait to do some night fishing this summer!
