#1909, "October 10, Rancho Goleta Lake"

Round 2: After work Brian #2 and I headed to the trailer park with trout plug rods in hand. We were both throwing 7" Ospreys. Worked our way all the way to the bridge before Brian got a biter. Didn't stick. I went across the bridge and fished this point (the one other point, besides the one I hooked the big fish on earlier). Two or three casts on it and I stuck a 2.75#er that swirled on it. Later on Brian got a 1.5#er on the other side of the bridge. I missed a couple and Brian missed a couple. Byron Velvick remains my hero, and Ospreys may be my new favorite numba one lure. We'll have to see how the Slammers perform at the trailer park, but the Ospreys are gettin mauled.
