#180, "Margarita Lake is fillin' up!!"

I emailed Dean up at Margarita's Angler's Outpost asking what the lake's status is. He said the folks up there have closed the water valves at the dam, so Margarita lake has begun to refill. As of yesterday morning around 11:30, the lake was already up 2 feet (that's a lot of water considering te size of the lake)! I'm sure the water has begun to turn brown due to runoff, but I guess this is the time to try looking for the breaks between the clear and brown water. For you boaters, now is also the time to be very careful when moving down the lake, as typically there's a bunch of floating (or semi-floating) debris in the water.
