Hey everyone,

I'm going to be in Lake Tahoe at the end of the month March 27-29. Looking to try to catch one of those big lake trout and maybe fish some streams or smaller lakes from shore or tube. Not sure if this is the right time of year. Has anybody out there fished Tahoe? Any used any of the guides up there and liked or didn't like them. Are there places to rent boats so I can give it a go myself. Any techniques that I might use for those big boys. Anybody ever tried deep trolling slammers up there. Any info would be much appreciated. I already know how to catch trout with fly rod and standard methods with spinning gear and artificals and I ain't fishin bait. Thanks for the help.
