Got on the water about 7am, launched from White Oak in the kickboat and rowed towards the dam area. Stopped along some rocky shore line and cranked 2 ten inchers....continued into the dam area and went over to a hot spot around a rock pile. Tried everything that worked so well two weeks ago (mostly dragging Hula grubs and creature baits) for nothing. Started drop shoting and caught a couple more 10 inchers and a really nice Trout on an Aarons Magic Robo. On the way back to white Oat cranked the same rocky shore line and got a solid 2.5lb'r. The lake didn't appear to have had much difference from the rain we recieved last week. On a side note: I know there was a WON Bass team event at San Antonio, but I was amazed at how quiet it was today on the water. I was the only one on the water when I launched....Great day on the water!
