Ok, so in the past week and a half, I've fished Del valle 5 times. Started off slow, just finding fish, then I floated the south end last Tuesday, and caught 25+ fish. I know, alot of guys wont say if and when they are catching fish, but I think thats a little lame, to say the least. Anyhoo, the fish want to spawn soooo bad, its ridiculous. A few bed fish now, but the bass dont seem super locked-down. Drop shotting way up in the crap did it, black and bronzebacks alike. Oh yeah, caught a tagged smallie too, thats beyond me.
On another note, has anyone tried the new Redington rods? The RSX series...if anyone has tried em, gimme a report.
