got a new boat on saturday (see boat projects post for more info on new boat) so i had to take it out with the kids on sunday to try it out

got to Pudd. at about noon left about 6pm

caught 15-20 bluegill/redear/sunfish

3 small bass ranging from 1 inch to 8 inches

lots of schooling baby bass in the coves

left happy to have caught fish and got to try out the new boat!!

looks like camping & fishing @ lake perris is in order this coming weekend

ps saw a really cool site a garter snake swam across the cove and climbed up a tree that was hanging in the water. i thought it was a baitfish getting chased until it got closer!
