#13771, "Pyramid 7/3"

Left home aroung 11:45 pm thinking i'll be first in line when i get there. When i arrived at 1:15 am, i was the 20th person in line. So much for being first. Talked to KPN at gray light while waiting in line. Because we had multiple cars he told us that one of us should go get some crawlers because that's what they wanted yesterday. Since we only brought chovie, we stuck to it. Although i took the boat, we didn't fish on it. We beached the boat and fished with anchovie. We were fishing a point at the island and the mountain across from the south launch ramp. While fishing at the island, a boat came 25-30 ft in front of us. It took off with my calcutta outfit. Thank goodness the prop cut the line or else bye bye. I don't get it. There is so much room, why would anyone (jet skiers and boaters) come so close to shore anglers. Piss the crap out of me. I was about to chase after them and give them a piece of my fist. Anyways back to fishing. Got a total of 22 stripers for the seven of us. Lost about 15 nice fished to the weed all aroung the lake. The fishes were 1 - 5 lbs. Saw a school of stripers boiling for about 10 minutes in front of us. They were spooked very easily. I did go after them with the boat but sank before i was in casting distance. Left around 1:30. If anyone is going be sure to bring some sunblock, it's burning out there. Sunny all day with a cool breeze.
