For those who have not seen the article in the recent WON, they are asking for " fishing groups" ,but am sure anyone can help, to contact park officials at 760-389-2281 to volunteer.

The more people help, including people with boats, the sooner it will be open for fishing again.

I guess the good side to the temporary closure,is the bass should have a fairly un-interupted spawn. :)
