Our Club fished Naci under stormy skies. The spotted bass are on the munch. Everyone caught fish and limits on both days were common. The fish were dinky, with very few over the 1.5 mark. They were chewing 4" and 6" worms of every color on the D/S or Tx. Rigged. Just pitch shallow and drag out to 10-15 ft. and you were on almost every cast. Very few LM were caught. The water temp was as high as 63.4 and the water was stained with visibility up to 5-6 ft. The spots have spawned and their fry are in the coves or shallow everywhere. White bass were just going off everywhere but especially near the dam and the tablas arm.
It took about 10lbs. to win the tourney and ounces seperated the field. It was a good tournament for most.
Next tournament: THE DELTA!! Any one have any suggestions?
