#863, "Lopez, Feb 5 - 8"

Arrived on Monday and got on the water by 2:00PM Managed a 1 pound LM on a Clown jerk bait, off a steep rock wall. About 4:00 switched to a blue/chartruse crankbait and a 5lb-10oz LM jumped on it.

2/6 saw the arrival of the cold front. Hooked one nice one on a rattle trap, but lost it.

2/7 - 31 degrees. Got blanked.

2/8 - 25 degrees. Good grief. Went to a blue/black Jig and scored a 2lb-8oz in the bushes. How have I managed to be there for all the cold fronts?

Fred B.
