Fished Puddingstone this morning from 7:20-9:20 with Kenny for slow fishing. There was about 4ft. visabiltity with sunny skies and a slight chop on the water all morning. I threw the 9" dark rainbow Slammer for most of the time but I didn't even get a blow up. We also tried jigs, Ikas, Senkos, dropshotting, and texas-rigging brush hogs and Yamamoto worms. I threw a 3/8oz. brown jig with a watermelon/red flake brush hog trailerfor the only fish of the day on the last cast! This 4.5#er fought harder than any other bass I have caught at this lake, due to the cold weather maybe? He started running in all different directions and it took me quite a while to lip him. I can't wait to get another one, but that may take a while.. I hope this picture doesn't give away the location...:)
