I made it out there on friday for my first trout fishing expedition of the season. It was a good idea, i was going to fliat tube around for whatever, but when i went to check if there were a lot of trout the action was too good to run back to the car to get the tube. I got hit on snap beans, powerbait, spinners, and needlefish, also got one on a 1/8 oz bass jig. In total i caught about 15 in 2 hours. I would have had about ten more, but i didnt have a good spot on shore, too much weeds. Fish were stockers, 9"-14" the biggest i caught was about 1.5 lbs. In all pretty good, next time, float tube and flies, that'll slay'em.
