We fished from 4am-9am without a single boil. We were there last week and had 15-20 fish a piece in 2 hours of fishing with boils all over. Yesterday didnt provide any action for anyone. We fished the south end of the lake and hiked in. The last flurry of action came after a heat wave when the temperature had cooled of. Also the water is all over the place. Last friday into saturday the water level where we fished both days must have moved almost 75 yards out. Places we were casting to were now where we were standing if not further. Maybe thats what is affecting the bite. My guess is the high heats we have had. Hopefully with the next cool down the striper will move back in. Also there were alot of shad all over with the occasional largemouth blowing up on them. good luck and tight lines.
