Interesting lake. Reminded me a lot of this lake I used to fish in Washington D.C. (right between the Washington Monument and the Vietnam Memorial). It's kind of like fishing in someone's swimming pool :)

I got most of mine on a black spinnerbait also. The Zorro Shortarm Black/Blue with a double tail black grub trailer. I have had great success with the Zorro shortarms - the fish seem to short strike a lot less. The Musky Jitterbug was getting whacked a lot but only one of the fish connected - and then it fell off at my feet. I think they were just knocking it out of the way. It's amazing that a fish can hit something so big with three big trebles on it and not get stuck. I got one really nice hit on a black buzzbait. My biggest fish went about 16 inches (~1.5 lbs.)
