I took the kid up to try the new boat out. Heard the lake was producing numbers of fish and wanted to get the kid into some fish. Well it most have slowed down because we only caught 8 fish not the 30-50 fish days that I was hearing about but oh well had a good time. Caught all fish on 4" hologram shad worms drop shotted in 5-25ft of water on rocky banks. Most of the fish came out of the Bear trap area first thing in the morning. No topwater fish even though fish were boiling.
