I stopped by Lopez today for an hour of shore fishing. I went straight to wittenburg and started fishing the rocks with a 5" motoroil senko. After about 20 minutes of nothing I think maybe they don't like motoroil anymore. I dug through my stuff and found one last watermelon with red/green flake in 5". The top was pretty tore up so I rigged it backwards. First cast I get bit and land a nice one, 5.6lbs on the berkely scale. I fished the senko for a few more casts and lost it in some sticks. I threw blades for a little while longer and headed home.
I really need a camera with a zoom so I can fit the tails of fish like this in the pic
