Managed to fish Eldorado again on Sunday and caught one 2 1/2 pounder on a crank bait. I also missed one bass on a jig (not again!). I threw senkos, jigs and robo worms most of the time and finally got a fish on an old fashioned crank bait. Lots of fish were up shallow - and they seem to be facing the tulleys, but they were very spooky and not interested in anything I threw at them. They're also getting heavy, heavy pressure these days (as always). Lots of people reporting a fish here or there on the beds and there are many getting bass on live dads.

Huge carp must be spawning or something now too. I saw three pairs of huge gold carp rubbing up against each other and almost pushing one another out of the water. Man they make a lot of noise splashing around and really muddying up the water. I also some other carp that looked like koi. These things are huge too. It was quite a site.

I also saw what I think are bass fry up in the shallows too. How small are they? These things were very, very small... like dots with tails. If only I had an aquarium ;)

The water level is really getting low at the lakes. I asked someone there if they were totally dependent on rain and they said that the department of water or something like that controlled the water into the lakes...
