So I went to the west fork on sunday afternoon, and it starts raining...anyway, i caught one trout on a gold phoebe in one of the first pools close to the highway. anyway, after that i found it really hard to get the fish to chase whatever i threw at them as i worked upstream. Is it that they can see me since the water is so clear, or am i just presenting these things wrong? I used a gold phobe, gold castmaster, and white mini jigs. All were presented by casting up stream and retrieving w/ the current.
