Wondering if any of you seasoned float tubers can give me some sound advice. I'm thinking of giving this form or boating/bobbing a shot and wanted to get some suggestions as to the favored tubes and accessories. I'm about 5'9, 250#s, if that'll help in making the decision and will probably keep this in the freshwater situations. Trout, Bass, whatever... Spinning, casting, probably no fly-fishing...

About the only thing I've decided on is a pair of Hodgeman waders, and I hear the better buy might be a U shaped boat or Pontoon boat, so suggestions there greatly appreciated. BUT, the mind is very open to any and all tube-related suggestions...I've never done this before and am eager to try.
