Pete Skarda from Wilderness outfitters informs me that the lake record largemouth for Lopez was shattered last Thursday by over 2 pounds by a 13lb 11 and one half ounce largemouth. The fish was taken down to Pete's shop to be weighed and photographed and then returned to the lake in good shape. Pete told me the name of the angler who caught the fish but I forgot! Apparently the fish was caught on a worm. <BR>Pete also reports that he and a gentleman named Maynard were up at Margarita last week on Wednesday and had a very nice day with Pete boating a 5-10 and Maynard another one about the same size. Has Margarita ever been this good?
