It Depends when its hot, you canget limit in less than 2hrs, if average fair to hot 5hrs, I know chabot is pretty good place to fish if you know the spots, but when its cloudy it get too murky 0 visibility, Del Valle was hot a few weeks ago, but I haven't heard anything yet, watch out for San Pablo, when they open fish between march to april, Lake Merced should be back on its Feet April to Jun, Last was pretty good fishing there cast 7feet from the shore short leader night crawler no bobber, if you want to save money I'll recomend get the annual pass on any East Bay Park, try contra loma it has a lot of different variety of fish. good luck and see ya on the lake..
