T Rob,

I would try the lower lake of Castaic. I was up there this weekend and way up in the north end by the tules, bluegill were everywhere. They weren't big but if you just want the little guy to catch something then that's the place. I was even thinking of taking my daughter out there for some action. They were willing to bite to because they were attacking my 6" plastic worms.
