I got out to Lopez today, mainly to check out the project boat that I just finished. The fishing was slow but I just spent a couple of hours drop shotting on some of the main points, no fish. The day was great with no one around for me to bother as I launched a boat for the first time. Plenty of time to mess around on the launch ramp without interfering with other boaters.
It was great, boat performed well and is very stable, motor ran great...this is going to be fun!
