I finally fished that area of the aquaduct at ranchero and 11th for no fish on my first try. Considering i stayed in a 50 yd area and was there only 45 minutes i was not surprised. The next day i went back and walked a much larger stretch. drifting chicken livers on 8lb test and a 2/0 hook and after losing a few rigs i finally hooked aup, and a few minutes later i landed and released an estimated 5lb catfish, he went past the 22'' mark on my rod.it was a good fight and felt good to finally catch something.
