#1205, "Shadow Cliffs Tubing"

Got to Cliff's right at 6 and found they had already opened the gate and let people in! My watch is slow. Anyway, after inflating and suiting up launched left of swim area by inlet pipe and started throwing powerbait for trout. Landed one hefty stocker at 3#. That was it for the day. Floated to the middle of lake where I saw these three cats just slaying some junior fatbows but couldn't hit the honey hole.
One the way back to the beach tied on a teeny weeny rebel craw and tried to crank the Stanley Shoreline for some bass. They're everywhere, but no takers. One swam past my flipper, must have been 8-10# if it was an ounce. Scared the S$%@ out of me and I nearly soiled my wetsuit! :o Some big uns . . .
Also a couple of carp to 5# cruising the shallows.
