Karl (OkieBug) and I met Vince (Red Drum) in Castaic for a little bass fishing in some serious wind. We fished Vince's 15' Dura Boat "Red Drum", probably a good thing because I think we may have went down if we were in either Karls or my little boat. Our goal was to make shad, which wasn't easy but it was obvious early that our efforts would be rewarded. I didn't do any counting but I'm guessing we caught around 25 LMB between 2 & 5 lbs. topped by Vince's 6 pounder:

We probably spent more time making bait than actually fishing but a great time was had by all.
