Hey
Yes the lake was drained to 40% capacity in 1980-82 to build the hydro electric powerplant at the inlet the lake was also drained I beleave in 85 to about 55% because of water issues along the aquaduct. The lake has never been totally drained. although now the total capicty is much lower from mass erotion
