Nightcrawlers Carolina-Rigged is usually a good bet anywhere Largemouths roam as long as weedgrowth is not a problem. If weeds are a problem use a bobber. Since the Bass in this pond are known to be small I would suggest little plastic worms as lures. The word small is relative to the reputation of the pond of course. At Coyote Reservoir a small lure is 7 inches. At Calero, small is 3 inches. If the Bass in this pond are at least 10 inches, I wouldn't hesitate to start at 4-5 inch sized baits. Good luck and let us know how you do. Oh, if the wind permits use the lightest weight possible. A slooowly falling presentation does wonders most of the time.
