What a great trip and great fishing. First day started off at the owens below benton crossing brige, very slow. Managed 2 .5lbers 1 on Chart Lip Ripperz worm, one on a gold KM. Later that day we hiked up to the lakes above Rock Creek lake, what a blast. We hiked to the 3rd lake (I think it was box lake) I caught 10 plus mostly on spinners, I tried split shotting the lip ripperz but kept getting short bit, I kept trimming the worm almost to nothing. Next day headed to Gull lake, nothing but a few Sac. Perch for the first 3 hours, decided to drift the middle of the lake. Caught 8 stockers half on Chart. Lip Ripperz half on inflated NC. I still need to learn to fish the plastics better, had a lot of short bites. Anyways, as the story always goes the big one got away. Just as I was slowly reeling in my Lip Ripperz worm so we could head back to camp, I get hit big time and my 2lb line is screaming. My buddy had to start up the boat so I didn't get spooled. After about 10-15 mins we see the fish, for me this was probably going to be my biggest catch ever. Of course being the Barnie I am I tighten the drag and SNAP (I'm an idiot). Finished the afternoon hiking around and fishing creeks, lots of small brookies. Next day did some exploring, Lundy lake for nada saw a guy pull in an 8lber and a 6lber, Tioga nada, Tubed Ellery caught 6 in an hour and a half 2 on a tiny lip ripperz (chart) 4 on NC. Headed back to Gull later that afternoon. I tried the lip Ripperz worm again, as I said before I gotta learn how to fish these better I got hit every other cast but couldn't hook up, finally got one on a NC. ON the way home we decided to check out the South lake, INtake II and NOrth lake areas. Stopped at North lake, Wow what a cool place, threw out some spinners and was hit every other cast caught about 6 in 45 mins. Walked to the creek that flows outta the lake between me and my buddy we caught/released 12 in 30 minutes. These trout were really beautiful fish not sure what type of trout they were. We pinched are barbs on everything worked real well.

As for the lip Ripperz worms, they definitely can catch you a great deal of fish if you know what you're doin. A tuber at Gull saw me getting hit on the chart worm but not hooking up I gave him a couple and sure enough he got 4 in about 20 minutes 1 was a nice cutt throat. Passed out several of the worms and cards to people at our camp site, Tioga, Lundy and Ellery lakes. Thanks for the free worms I can't wait to try them out locally now that I finally got a tube. I'd post pix but I fell in the creek at North lake and it ruined all the film.
