Well, swimbaits work very well at night, and I dont think it matters which one you use as long as you match your selection to water clarity. In very clear water, you can get away with the more subtle baits that dont make much noise. But in darker water, I go with the louder baits. Really though, I only fish clear water at night, at least I try to. And, I usually use my beat up baits for night fishing since the visual thing isnt near as important, at least in my opinion.
