Yeah Steve does seem to have quite a reputation around the net, and it's not a positive one.

My favorite part was that part massbassguy mentioned where he talks about removing the hook from a Stocker Trout. What a laugh... I've cut a Stocker in half to check out the internals and it would be virtually impossible to do it cleanly and put the bait back together again afterwards. The hook and weight system in there has wire wrapped around it and you wind up tearing the plastic in those areas no matter what you do. I can't see the point in trying to replace any of the internals of that bait and if I had to guess, the comment in the article is just a complete BS comment.
