Yeah Brian, it depends on a few things. What he/they are doing and if there's danger in it for me approaching them, i.e. physical harm, lol. Lately, I have run into folks who reply in a sarcastic voice, "oh, well then we'd better stop doing that..." That hacks me off and I will switch from being cordial to in-their-face. That is probably not the right approach but they sure back off, especially when my cell phone comes out. The trouble is, so many people today feel that if they believe it enough or want it enough, then they have the right to do whatever they want. It's a very selfish "It's all about me" attitude.
