#3358, "Triple Trout Floaters into Sinkers?"
Wed Jan-16-08 10:50 PM by Sinjin Kim

The baits laid out horizontally are all FLOATERS. I love the action on them. However, I think these 4 piece baits would be killer subsurface baits and swim better than the baits laid out vertically (which are all slow sink models).

Does anyone have the 4 piece floaters and if so, have you tried adding weight to them to make them sink?

I was thinking of drilling a hole and adding lead, adding lead wire onto the hook shank (might kill the action of the bait), or something else that may pop in my head. Any suggestions?

If 22nd Century is coming out (sometime soon) with slow sink models with the 4 piece design, please let me know before I ruin my baits, lol.

All the best,
