#3154, "Electrical question T-motor"

I recently shortened my trolling motor shaft. While I was putting the bolt back throuth the shaft, that hold the head on, I screwed up.
The bolt cut about a 1/4" long strip of insulation off of the negative wire. Thre is no way to wrap some electrical tape around it because the wire is too short and won't pull out of the shaft. Is this gonna cause me any problems? The motor works fine right now.

Thanks, Jerry
