#3128, "Mattlures BG and Bass"

On both the BG and bass series Mattlures there is an eyelet on the bottom of the baits to add an additional hook. Looking through pictures of catches with the BG most hookups were with an optional treble hook attached, while most hookups with the bass were with the original hook on the top.
Also, today while browsing the net I saw how swimbaitnation (SBN)suggested how to place the frog hook on the bottom of a huddleston and how fish chris (FC) rigged a treble hook on the top of a huddleston. Based on your uses with these lures (Mattlures), what type and size hooks and rigging do you suggest for Mattlures BG and bass to get better hookup ratios?
I was thinking about putting a treble hook or a frog hook on the BG and a frog hook on the bass to try and increase my hookup ratio. Does attaching the hook to the body of the swimbait (like SBN or FC) affect performance or hookups and does it decrease getting snagged? I think a dangling hook has a much better chance of getting snagged than one that would be secured to the bait. Just wanted to get some info from "experienced" swimbaiters.
