Coral Sea 11.22.16 3/4 day Trip Good afternoon everybody, Capt. Corey here with the Coral Sea 3/4 day report. We started off up at Santa Rosa island in the shallows with okay rockfish fishing along with some Lingcod. After the morning bite it shut down and we ended up moving down to Santa Cruz where we ended our day with decent chuckle head and whitefish fishing. We really appreciated our 25 anglers sticking at the rail and fishing through the slow times of the day. Over all we did pretty well, with fast fishing towards the end that ended our day nicely. 158 rockfish, 55 ocean whitefish, 21 lingcod and 1 sheepshead.

Stardust 1/2 Day trip
Very nice group of folks in board today made for an enjoyable day of fishing for the crew and I. We got off the dock with 33 anglers and started off in the deeper water.
After a half dozen stops with very little to show for our efforts we switched areas and concentrated our afternoon in anywhere from 150-165 feet and were able to pick off a few everywhere we went. Reds, Browns, Olives, Coppers and a few Blue Rockfish made up our catch and despite it being slower paced everyone stayed with it until we headed for home.
Our 32 anglers ended the day with 127 misc. Rockfish, 2 sheephead, 1 Whitefish and 1 Lingcod.
Both boats are sitting in tomorrow due to weather and will resume fishing on Friday with the Stardust on a 3/4 Day and the Coral Sea 1/2 day fishing. Please book your reservation online or call Sea Landing at 805 963-3564.
