Listers,

I'm trying to choose one of these lakes for my weekend trip. Recent reports have been pretty sparse. Any input is greatly appreciated.

The Shadow Cliffs back ponds should be good. I've been there as recently as a week and half ago or so. San Pablo might be ok, I really don't know. Never been to Temescal. Where is that?

I was at Shadow Cliffs Yesterday. Arrived about 9:00am and started in the island pond for about 1 1/2 hours with no luck flipping in the shoreline brush. I moved to the middle pond and caught 5 fish with Senkos on a dropshot in deeper water(15 to 20 feet). Tried flipping in the brush with Senkos & Reapers. Picked up 1 more on the Reaper. best fish maybe 2#. I probably should have tried the dropshot in the island pond before moving, oh well. Off the water at 2:30.

Good luck,
Mitch
