So I am looking to get a new one probably a plontoon boat this time is the "Colorado" any good you can get them for about 350 off ebay so I am looking at that one. I dont really want to spend more than 400- What would be a good boat to get? Also do you use fins w/ these boats aswell as oars? Thanks

I have the 9' Orange one. Love it. Very comfortable, plenty of room, handles the weight, no live well yet. Little heavy with steel frame but empty I can carry it. And, I am a couch potatoe.
I have had photos in an old style camera for months, just couple more to go and I can get them developed and posted. Just have to catch more fish to use up the photos:-)
I'm in Santa Rosa, CA. and boat is set up in the garage. If you wanted to check one out before you got it.
I got mine on walmart.com for $399 but I was told at the last Clear Lake Tournament that CostCo had virturaly the same boat for $299 (the one at Clear Lake was red - look cool - almost exactly the same);(
John
PS: YES to the Fins! More use of the Fins probably than the oars, then again, couch potatoe here!:7
