Im logging off today and going to Tahoe for a few days. I'll be fly fishing on the Truckee river and tubing Stampedee for small mouth.I will also be doing a day hike with my tube into the Desolation Wilderness to catch some trout. Have a wild and crazy 4th, drink lots and fish more.

Right on, dude. We're headed to Desolation in a little over 2 weeks. Which lake are you going to fish? We're going to try to get to Rubicon, although we're not taking our tubes. We fished it 3 or 4 years ago, & that's the best trout fishing I've experienced in Desolation.

Give us a report when you return. Just took the young 'un whitewater rafting on the S. Fork of the American last weekend. It was a blast! Gotta try those river kayaks one of these days - those things are very cool.
