We had 22 anglers come out to Tiki Lagun for the final event of the 2015 season. It was a good day to be out enjoying the delta, The fishing however was a little tough as only 2 limits crossed the scale. Dan Balaba took the win with four fish for 11.79 pounds, with a 5.1 pound big fish of the day. Congrats to Dan on a strong finish for the year. Mitch Teman came in second place with four fish for 11.52 pounds. Taking the third position was Jeff Wilson, with one of the limits good enough for 7.90 pounds. And rounding out the last paying position was Scott Rouhier who had five for 7.2 pounds.
Thanks to everyone who was able to attend and thanks to the good folks at Tiki Lagun for the hospitality. The bacon cheeseburgers sure hit the spot after a long day of fishing.

Tiki report:
Congrats to everyone that placed.
I got on the water around 710 because of the detour on hyw 4.I saw gill and nick and at the ramp getting ready to hop in the water too. I checked in with Big Daddy and off I went. I headed out to the right with intentions to fish the island point but saw a couple of my mates posted on it, so I cruised down to whiskey wondering if I made the right decision instead of heading out to the deep water channel where I got on some top water fish the weekend before in prefish. I tried to fish any thing that had deep water and current nearby, mostly points, flats and swings. I fished a little top water and through a crank but all my fish came on the punch in patches of mixed grass. Had maybe 8 bites landed 4 on a tough day on the delta. Got back to the ramp and was greeted by Mitch with a story about how he wacked 4 4lbers on a wakebait, good one dude! Didn't think I was going to place but held on by a hair for the V.
I do want to say hello to all the new tubers that have come out to play this year, I love how the club is growing, hope you guys will be back next year for more fun. Now get out there and fish because you know I will be ;)
