#11574, "Congrats to new SCBBBC officers!"

Heading up the new crew will be Jeff Andress for President! Congrats to a great guy!

Rich Caro is going to be our VP
Phil Rageneau is the new Tourney Director
Eric Keith takes over Treasurer
Mike Tierney is the Invite Coordinator

Andy Parsons (webmaster stud) and myself will be advisors.

Give a big hand to these guys for what looks like an awesome 2003 season!

Also, we have made our new schedule and it goes below:

February - Sonoma (22nd)
March - Spring
April - Highland Springs
May - BnT Open at Clear
June - Delta team
July - Sonoma night team
August - Blue
September - Berryessa
October - Invitational @ Clear
November - Clear

Dates will be scheduled to avoid as best we can conflict with other tournaments and groups. September's Berryessa tourney will be our 2nd Annual charity tournament.

I thought you did a great job as president last year Todd and would have liked to see you as president again, but I know Jeff will do just as good of a job. Congrats to Rich Caro as the new V.P,Phil Rageneau,Eric Keith,Mike Tierney and Andy Parsons as SCBBBC officers. I know you all will do a fine job and I look forward to working with Jeff and Rich in the up and coming year.

The SCBBBC looks like it has a solid schedule.

Was there any rule changes for SCBBBC for 2003?

hey lets have another vote

lets change blue lakes in august to clear lake night!. that would be way more aweosme than the sonoma night. and lets change the sonoma night to bluelakes in the day. clear night would be awesome. look how hemphill goes out and slays at night there durign the summer. look how many times you all go out to clearlake and hit a few big fish before first light. i think it was kinda lame how it worked out. we voted and then looked at the schedule, and everyone pussed out. i can see the first 2 tourney beign changed. but the rest also. yorty creek was pretty well packed last year, aadn clearlake is such a huge place, everywhere is good at nigth there. you cant miss. i think alot of peopl voted on thing they had no idea about. like spring lake in february. anyoen who ever fishes it at that time of year knows the catch ratio is horrible. but people still voted for it. just because they like a lake. doesnt mean it will be good at everytime of the year. i think the way we had it first was the way to go evryoen would catch fish, and it was perfect tiem for some of those lakes. any way
we voted 2 tiem now, why cant we vote again.

we have alomost had teh same schedule for the pst 3 years. why not switch it up completely and give evryone a fresh start and not such a set thing each year.

the people who say we should change it to that r

Thanks to everybody who agreed to be a club officer for next year, & also to this year's crew - Todd, Kevin, Jeff & Mike - for an outstanding job. The season ran beautifully, & those were the quickest, best weigh-ins we've done yet. Also, great job with the Invitational. Eric Keith was a big help there.

There were some rule changes. You can check them out under September Meeting Notes from our homepage.

Kevin - any lake that we pick in February could be blown out, except maybe Fountaingrove, & not many of us want to fish there anymore. I actually thought it was a bit of a change of pace, adding Highland Springs & Berryessa & reducing Spring Lake to once per year. Eric did bring up a good point - it's hard to vote on a schedule like we did using just one round of voting, because where you want to fish in April could be affected by where you're fishing in February or March, & you can't know where that is until the votes are counted.

Who the heck came up with that system of choosing a schedule? I think it was that knucklehead who was trying to run things before Todd, you know that guy, uh... Wait a minute. Never mind.

Looks like you've got some good heads in there to keep things moving forward (with the *old guys* still hangin' around to keep an eye on things)! :o

Onward & upward, dudes!

Hope not but I will keep an eye on everybody. Jeff will do a great job along with the rest of the crew. We're already planning a meeting with officers and others who would like to help out and try to make this the best season ever. We'll keep everybody updated with what imrovements are going to be happening.

Kev, sorry about how you feel but the second time we voted was pretty legit. I shouldn't have held a blind vote as it could cause some problems when we decide a lake. I think it is a good schedule and we do have some differences, especially since I've been around. Sonoma in March, Highland Springs, Berryessa, that's a pretty diverse schedule. Gotta also remember Larry Hemphill didn't do very well this past summer and he mostly likes fishing deeper structure with jigs and worms. Not the type of fishing you or I like to do (as much). Besides, we might have some issues with lights and things.

Anyway, enough rambling. Let's just make it a great year and have some fun!

Todd
