It seems that a Wake Bait is a popular recommendation for summertime swimbait fishing. I was wondering if there are any other recommendations anyone has for a summertime swimbait.
Right now I am looking at buying a 3:16 Wake Jr. (in rainbow) and a huddleston rof 0.
I am looking to use these baits primarily for deadsticking and have no problems with patience. I was also wondering if anyone had any other recommendations for summertime patterns or baits to use for deadsticking.

Night time with an MS Slammer. I've had the best luck on super dark nights. I haven't caught any fish over 5 lbs. with this bait, but I've sure caught alot of them.

I cann't say that I'm a expert of any sort but slammer. I have caught fish over 5lb with the slammer dead sticking it.
I also heard that the hudd 0 is not that great of a wake bait. That is sits on its side when it is dead in the water. Lets see if any one else can conferm this.

The Hudd 0 sits perfectly straight on the surface not on its side (similar to how a wake bait does). It does not really wake per say as it was not designed to do so. It is more of a dead stick bait that you can get some interesting action out of once you learn how to make it wiggle just right :-)

Ther Monster Jack is a great bait, but recently the slammer in dark trout and silver trout has been doing great for me I cought these 3 in one night not long ago on a 7" Dark Trout Slammer
