Bassnet, havent fished creek in a while...havent been to Turks, but my brain feels "wrecked" from trying to figure out this $39 Fry's special scanner I bought! Being a computer "newby", I must have spent 3 days trying to figre it out(and converting .bmp files to .jpg, etc!?), but I finally figured it out!!! I just posted that corbina pic (from WON)a while back on the message board under "Pierfishing In California" and it worked!!! Check it out...I am stoked!!!

Todd, right on getting the scanner to go, for some reason mine isn't compatible with Windows ME, I'm over dealing with it! That was cool how that guy lightened up your photo, I need to learn that stuff.

#3628, "I Thought All Scanners Were Windows Compatible?"
In response to Reply # 5

Bassnet, I thought almost all scanners are windows compatible. I have "millenium edition" windows and my "el-cheapo" Fry's scanner works on it. The hardest part of setting it up for me was converting .bmp files to .jpg files, but it wasnt too bad. I am a total computer "newby" though so if I can do it...anyone can...I'll try a few test posts on it here!
